Autumn Layers | Fashion

This Autumn I am all about layers. I want to be wearing my whole wardrobe at once. Well, maybe not my whole wardrobe but I'm sure you get what I mean. But my indecisive nature leaves me pining after more than one look for this autumn. So not only am I loving layers but also 70s boho, tartan, stripes...and the list will probably multiply as times goes by.

Now obviously, I won't be styling all the looks in one go - that could be quite a shock to the eyes if I did! But I will definitely be mixing things up and flitting between those key styles whilst choosing my outfits for this season. But do expect to see a lot of layers, no matter what!

For the boho look think crochet, floaty midi skirts, palazzo trousers, faux fur gilets, slouchy rompers, patterns, earthy tones, baggy, basically anything that makes you want to act like a hippy and love the earth!

For tartan, I'm on the hunt for the perfect tartan blanket scarf or cape, and possibly even a tartan dress! For me, tartan screams winter is coming and makes me want to just cuddle up in front of a crackling fire with a hot cocoa. So to create that cosy feeling, tartan is an essential pattern for the autumn wardrobe.

Now stripes, stripes are truly timeless. And I feel it is something that my wardrobe lacks. So I plan to increase the level of stripes in my wardrobes and will pair it with practically anything else in between boho and tartan.

Also on my list for this season is a lovely wide brimmed wool floppy hat. I know people have been styling these for aaaaages now, but I feel autumn is the time when I will feel brave enough to wear one. Well, that's if it isn't too windy!

So lots of mixed styles, lots of layers, and lots of cosyness. That's what my autumn wardrobe is all about.
