Patterned trousers - I absolutely adore them. They spice up work wear. Black boot-cut trousers? I don't think so! For office wear, I'm thinking the louder the better. Right now, I love grid patterns. These Asos trousers are calling my name. If bold print trousers aren't your thing than these are a great pair to ease you into the pattern-crazed trews world.

The perfect accompaniment to pattern trousers is a simple shirt. River Island has a wonderful simple shirt that I love. It comes in an array of colours and is a lovely fit. I feel that the print work trousers and shirt combo has a hint of masculinity. Perfect for letting people know that you rule the office! For the days when the office is a touch frosty, layer this shirt with a cropped chunky knit jumper!

Moving on down to the shoes...I am majorly crushing on these Topshop pom-pom slippers. They just make me want to squeal with excitement. The fluffy pom-pom is so on trend right now and it just makes me think of old age romantic films (or tinkerbell in Peter Pan, I'm undecided). Either way they are truly beautiful.

When you're leaving the office and heading back to the comforts of home, you're going to want to be cozy! This River Island coat has a never-ending faux fur collar. Just looking at it makes me feel instantly warm! This coat is definitely a statement piece, with it's contrasting textures and waterfall style. I feel that it's the perfect finishing touch for creating that feminine masculine look for a winter office style.
