2015 is fast approaching us. Another year has zoomed by, far quicker than I've realised. Sometimes, I swear that the time is getting faster. So, with a new year just around the corner, it would be rude of me to not get on board with the tradition of resolutions.
It's common knowledge, that most New Year Resolutions are broken before January has ended. As well as having a short-lived life span, resolutions all tend to center around the same thing....to drink less, to eat healthy, to lose weight, to study harder. All I can think is boring, boring, boring. These are such general resolutions and are things that we probably think about on a daily basis. They are definitely things that we don't need to make resolutions for. If you really want any of these things, you'll just go out and get it, regardless of whether it's January 1st or not.
So, this year I'm throwing my New Year Resolutions out the window. But keeping with the spirit of tradition, I'm still going to set myself some goals. But I'm talking more like ticking things off a mini wish-list for 2015. Kind of like a bucket list, except I (hopefully) won't be kicking the bucket at the end of it all. My aim is to set some mini (and fun) goals to complete before we have to wave goodbye to 2015. Some of my 2015 goals will be achievable and others may be slightly more out of reach. But, what's life without a little motivation or challenge?
My 2015 Plan of Action:
- Learn to drive
- Take a trip to America
- Start yoga
- Go to another festival abroad
- Visit London
- Master winged eyeliner (seriously!)
- See the Northern Lights
- Take more photos
- Own a cruiser bicycle (and learn to ride...)
- Keep up blogging
- Go to a drive-in movie
- Go kayaking
- Road trip
- Go camping with friends
- Make progress (and gains) in gym training
- Go to a tree-top adventure park
- Start pole fitness again
- Learn a new skill
- Attend more Blogger meet-ups
- Cut hair off for charity
If you could do one thing in 2015, what would it be?
Grandiose Days,
xxx

great post, my new year's resolutions tend to go south so having a bucket list sounds better. Mine would probably to keep up my blog though mastering winged liner is another good one :)
ReplyDeleteThanks lovely! Keeping new year resolutions is so hard! Definitely makes a bucket list the better option :). Keeping up your blog is a great goal to strive for, it's something that I'll be doing too :)xxx
DeleteSuch a clever idea! I rarely make New Year's resolutions but something like this is way more interesting for me :) xx
ReplyDeleteThanks! I definitely agree, resolutions never get followed through with but a 2015 bucket list is way more likely to motivate me to get off my butt and do things! Thanks again :)

Love this! I really want to master winged liner too it's so much harder than it looks!
ReplyDeleteIf I could do one thing in 2015 (and money wasn't an obstacle) it would probably be to go to NYC :)
