Pretty in Pastels for Spring 2015 | Fashion

The mornings are brighter, which for me is always the number one sign that Spring is here. Waking up to gorgeous blue sky means waking up bright-eyed and bushy tailed. As opposed to crawling out of bed like a zombie during the dark and gloomy mornings of Winter. In Spring I automatically reach for the prettiest clothing possible. I want to embrace the warmer weather and exchange the usual (and ever so beloved) black and grey wardrobe for lovely, light pastels. As a result of the change in weather, I am feeling more positive and determined than ever.

The office chic style will forever be a favourite of mine. It's just so versatile and can be easily taken from day to night in 0.25 seconds. Just swipe on some bold lipstick, swap the brogues for heels and trade in the shirt for a pretty crop top! These ASOS t bar shoes are heavenly. I adore the pastel blue colour. The detail is so intricate and the pastel blue makes them perfect for adding a pop of colour to the work wardrobe. These are definitely on my Spring wish list (and there's a 99.9% chance they'll be getting purchased on payday!). I'm a sucker for t bar shoes or brogues and I've seen quite so many pretty pastel toned ones already this Spring. I have a feeling that I may need to find some more space in my wardrobe for my ever-growing shoe collection.

Spring is that awkward time of year, where it's not quite warm enough to flash a bit of bare leg but it's too warm to be wearing your fleecy black tights. So what do you do when faced with this scenario in the morning? Reach for some pretty tailored trousers, of course! Although I love to wear black, I can hardly ever resist the chance to wear a pair of patterned of block coloured tailored trousers. These light pink cigarette trousers from River Island are an absolute delight. I'm just dreaming of being brave and pairing these with the aforementioned ASOS shoes. For a girl who is obsessed with wearing black and grey, I'd be in total colour heaven. The delicate watercolour crop top is also a River Island number. It reminds me of mermaids and is 100% getting me excited for summer, never mind Spring!

I am never late. Honestly, I'm not even exaggerating. I hate being late for things so I always make sure I get there super early instead. Every morning, I get into work roughly 45 minutes early. It means I can have a relaxing morning. I save myself from the unnecessary fluster that comes with being late. So, the perfect accessory for the girl that's always keeping track of time has got to be a pretty watch! Last year I treated myself to a gorgeous Daniel Wellington watch. I love it so much, whenever I put it on my wrist, it brings a smile to my face. This Olivia Burton watch is equally as gorgeous. I appear to have a preference for watches with biiiig faces and minimalistic design.

Spring colours and all the blooming flowers have got me on a high right now. I'm feeling super positive and energised. As a result, I am more determined than ever to find my feet and make my mark on this world. I have a few ideas buzzing around my brain. It's just a matter of choosing one....trust me, that's a lot harder than it sounds when you're as indecisive as I am! Then it's all about making the dream concrete. I am itching to get my own business off the ground and use my full potential. So keep watching this space because one day I will be living my dream.
