Makeup Revolution Ultra Strobe Cream Review

My number one summer necessity is to be radiant at all times. It's amazing how much having a subtle glow to my skin makes me feel 100x better about myself. Living in rainy England means a hot summer is somewhat of a pipe dream. If I want glowing skin, I need to delve into my beauty bag rather than relying on the weather gods. This summer I am loving the Makeup Revolution Ultra Strobe Cream.

This cream is perfect for creating a radiant, sunkissed look. If I could walk the streets with a full-face of highlighter I probably would. I just want to sparkle 24/7 and I'm not even sorry. The ultra strobe cream is amazing. It allows me to achieve a subtle sparkle, perfect for everyday use.

First of all, let's just appreciate the packaging of this product. You can always count on Makeup Revolution for dressing table worthy products. From their sleek black eyeshadow pallets to rose gold brushes and now this strobe cream with an equally dreamy strobe label. I'm also a huge fan of the squeezy tube as nothing irritates me more than never being able to reach the last bit of cream in a pump-applicator bottle!

With this product, I use a very thin layer underneath my foundation to brighten up my skin. It dries quickly and isn't at all heavy on the skin. Making it perfect for when you're getting ready after oversleeping on a Monday morning. Then using a tiny (and I mean tiiiiny) amount, I highlight my cheek bones, cupid's bow, nose, and top of my forehead...y'know all the areas the sun hits. This cream is highly pigmented, leaving a gorgeous golden shimmer. The irridescent gold fragments of glitter capture the sunlight, creating a lush illuminating effect. Thanks to this strobe cream, my skin looks instantly brighter and refreshed for summer.

Makeup Revolution products are always amazingly priced, with this cream currently being priced at £8! For a great 50ml worth of product, you really can't say fairer than that. Especially as the smallest amount goes a long way. This strobe cream is 100% a summer must-have and one that I will be repurchasing when it eventually runs out.
